JOB SUMMARY
It is vital that our Supported Living Managers maintain a high level of quality for our program. There are many aspects to our success, many that hinge upon the Supported Living Manager’s ability to coordinate with public schools, multiple state workers, therapists, physicians, courts, families, and many others who are publicly involved.
It is vital that our Supported Living Manager is able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms, has the ability to prioritize work, and to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames. It is your responsibility to ensure that TNS staff provide appropriate support to the individuals we work with and is able to effectively manage personnel and program issues. As a Supported Living Manager you will represent True North Supports and it’s entire team on many occasions and will be responsible to continually improve the quality and consistency of the program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing employees and the individuals they support.
- Able to work well unsupervised and perform exceptional work with minimal supervision
- Collecting and auditing all clientele and employee paperwork, timesheets, and Monthly Progress Reports.
- Hitting required deadlines
- Work with the Program Director in finding and hiring qualified staff.
- Responsible to respond to client and employee crisis, resolving client and employee related concerns.
- Training new employees (On-shift training/shadowing)
- Implementing employee improvement programs, corrective actions, and employee evaluations.
- The ability to represent TNS in attending ISO meetings with potential clients, their families, and their support coordinators.
- Under the direction of the Program Director and Executive Director: Communicate with our Support Coordinators, parents, and guardians.
- Monthly leadership/planning meetings with TNS leadership Team.
- Ensuring Client “hours of supports” are met each month by their respective staff.
- Responsible for client hours and employee scheduling.
- Responsible to cover shifts as needed to ensure program quality and consistency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years experience and or equivalent education in working with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Oversight of person centered plans and support strategies and the ability to facilitate effective outcomes of client goals.
- Experience in supervising and management of employees.
- Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations professionally.
- Have good, general writing skills and can articulate on a variety of service topics.
- Able to understand and manage personnel issues and deal with staff in a positive manner.
- Responsible for employee improvement programs, reviews, and training.
- Conduct and attend meetings in a professional manner as a representative of True North Supports and as a reputable Supported Living Manager.
- Have good public relations skills in working with a variety of medical, professional, and state employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour Depending on Experience
